Ishtar, one of the most important goddesses of ancient Mesopotamia, played a central role in the religion and mythology of the Babylonians, Assyrians and Sumerians. In Sumerian culture, she was known as Inanna, while the Babylonians and Assyrians worshipped her as Ishtar. She symbolises love, fertility and prosperity, but also strength and power

The crescent-shaped pendant made of pewter is adorned with three white stones and depicts the phases of the moon. The pendant is approx. 13 cm wide, approx. 8 cm high and approx. 1.5 cm deep.
